Henley Road

This project focused on a compact terraced home where limited space and poor natural light restricted how the ground floor could be used. The brief called for a modest extension that could unlock a more generous kitchen‑dining area, improve circulation, and create a stronger connection to the garden, all within tight site constraints. Technical resolution centred on a clear structural strategy, refined junctions and careful sequencing, developed through close collaboration with structural engineers and the contractor. A coordinated building control package and party wall agreements ensured compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. A coordinated approach across design and construction produced a small but well‑resolved extension that’s brighter, more functional and naturally integrated with the existing home.
