Dean House

Dean House focused on delivering a single, highly sustainable home. The design centred on a timber frame structure, natural cladding and low‑impact technologies, with biodiversity enhancement and long‑term environmental performance embedded from the outset. A series of design options were developed to balance architectural ambition with the realities of a challenging site, including steep level changes and constrained access. These conditions required careful technical resolution and close coordination with consultants to ensure the proposal remained both feasible and sensitive to its setting.
